Associations & Church Networks
A cord of three strands is not easily broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12. In this verse, the Bible affirms the idea that unity between likeminded people/churches results in greater strength for the whole body. We see the biblical pattern for these associations in the nascent stages of the New Testament Church and specifically in the ministry of Paul the Apostle. Local believers need the support and encouragement from their fellow members, and the ministry of the local church is greatly enhanced when they are part of an association of churches.

We believe that the biblical faith is inherently doctrinal, and we are therefore confessional in our convictions. We recognize the time-tested Second London Baptist Confession of Faith (1689) as a faithful summary of important biblical teachings and the abstract of that confession known as the Abstract of Principles.
